Biography
Lisa Yin Han is an assistant professor of film and media studies in the Department of English at ASU. Her research interests include new media, environmental media and critical infrastructure studies. Her dissertation, "Deepwater Feeds: Mediation and Extraction at the Seafloor," examined the material and semiotic remaking of the seafloor. Han has also published on fetal ultrasound, abortion media and internet freedom.
