Biography

Narin Loa is a doctoral candidate in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Arizona State University. His research interests include deportation studies, the intersection of language and identity, narrative inquiry, and TESOL. His current dissertation project investigates the consequences of (im)migration as a long-term and multidirectional process, with a specific focus on understanding and representing the lived experiences of Cambodian deportees.
