Sarah Florini

Biography
Sarah Florini is an assistant professor of film and media studies. She holds a doctorate in communication and culture from Indiana University. Her research focuses on the intersection of emerging media, Black American cultural production, and racial politics. Her work has appeared in top journals including New Media and Society, Critical Studies in Media Communication, and Television and New Media. She is currently working on a monograph titled "Blackness. There's an App for That: Racial Politics and Black Digital Networks."
