24th Annual Graduate Linguistics/TESOL Symposium

This free ASU event features presentations by graduate students in many areas related to linguistics and TESOL, including but not limited to: theoretical, discourse analysis, computer-assisted language learning, sociolinguistics, language policy, applied linguistics, world Englishes, phonology, acquisition, English as a global language, morphology, psycholinguistics, English as a foreign language, syntax, second language learning, interdisciplinary linguistics, semantics, second language writing, philosophy of language, pragmatics, bilingual education, and historical linguistics.
Keynote speaker is Dr. Danny Law of the University of Texas at Austin.
The event is hosted by the English department and supported by the Graduate Scholars of English Association (GSEA) and the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA).
