English programming for ASU Open Door 2019 takes you places

Kristen LaRue-Sandler

ASU Open Door welcomes visitors to campus locations, allowing the public access to spaces usually accessible only to ASU students – laboratories, living collections, museums and classrooms. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in hundreds of interactive, hands-on activities and talk to students, faculty and staff.

As a signature event of the Arizona SciTech Festival, ASU invites the community to discover all things science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

The Department of English used its motto, “Start Here. Go Anywhere” as inspiration for its Open Door 2019 lineup on the Tempe campus, Feb. 23. Via literature, film, word-play, and storytelling, we’ll take visitors to medieval Europe; to a galaxy far, far away; to London’s King’s Cross Station, to a traditional American Indian tipi in our own backyard, and more.

Please join us at ASU Open Door on February 23, 2019!
