CALL Research Incubator

The featured speaker for the inaugural CALL Research Incubator is Greg Kessler of Ohio University. Following the session, a social gathering and going-away party in honor of ASU's Andrew Ross will be hosted at The Normal (Located in the Graduate Hotel) at 6 p.m.

Kessler will give a talk about research in CALL with examples of his own work. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session focused on CALL research - bring questions about your own work. The talk will be followed by a Social to say goodbye and good luck to Andrew Ross who will be moving on to Harvard University in March.

Greg Kessler is Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of Instructional Technology in the Educational Studies department in the Patton College of Education at Ohio University. He has published extensively and delivered keynotes and featured talks around the world. His research addresses technology, teaching, learning, culture and language with an emphasis on teacher preparation. He is editor of the CALICO Equinox book series, Advances in CALL Practice & Research, and the Language Teaching & Technology forum in the journal Language Learning & Technology, as well as many other comprehensive collections.

Join us in RBHL 117 on Feb 28th at 4:30pm. Followed by the Social at The Normal at 6pm. All are welcome to join. The Normal is located in the Graduate Hotel, located 225 E Apache Boulevard in Tempe, AZ.
