Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts program in film and media studies in ASU's Department of English provides students with a comprehensive analysis of film, television, digital media and screenwriting. Students become critically informed writers, storytellers, critics and consumers of film and media.
They learn skills such as project research, critical thinking and effective messaging, preparing them for employment opportunities in a wide variety of fields.

Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to analyze the aesthetics of film, television and digital media texts.
- Students will be able to analyze the cultural significance of representations of class, gender, nation, race and sexuality in film, television and digital media.
- Students will be able to assess and analyze the business of film, television and digital media practices.
