The AETA website was created by English teachers, for English teachers, and for anyone and everyone who might find it useful in meeting the needs of young people. The Arizona English Teachers’ Association, the state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English, exists to serve you, to provide you with a forum for expressing your thoughts and feelings about this great vocation of ours, and to provide resources to help you.

The Department of English engages in research, education, and service activities both within and outside the university. In addition to offering opportunities for traditional academic engagement, we are dedicated to enriching lives throughout our communities, and invite our faculty, staff, students and alumni to participate in these endeavors.
The Graduate Student Association (GSA), part of the Associated Students of Arizona State University, represents graduate student interests within the student government. Members assist the Graduate College in planning various orientation programs for graduate students. The Graduate Student Association Research Development Program seeks to promote excellence in research and to provide graduate students with the experience of writing and submitting grant proposals.
The Graduate Program Handbooks and FAQs outline key information about graduate studies. Graduate Advisors are essential resources for answering questions and providing advice about degree program requirements, the application process, plans of study and course enrollment.
