Finding Internships

Finding an internship begins with the search.

Handshake is a great resource for finding an internship. The filter options are useful for streamlining features such as location, work type (e.g., teaching, technical writing, social media), or paid versus unpaid experiences.

Handshake is also a great tool for:

  • scheduling career advising appointments
  • viewing upcoming career events and workshops
  • developing a personalized profile and uploading a resume for employers to view
  • researching companies and hiring organizations
  • reading company reviews

The Department of English Internships Facebook page is another great resource: ASU Department of English Internships and Career Exploration

While many internship sponsors can be found locally, below are some links that can be useful for finding internships beyond the Phoenix area. These links were all functioning as of June 13, 2019.
